There are over 25 million social network users in Canada, a figure projected to grow to over 27 million by 2024. With 73% of these users logging-on daily to platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to get their social media fix, there is no question that social media platforms are a key factor in engaging with consumers and creating a successful digital marketing strategy for any brokerage in today’s digital age. 81% of buying decisions a customer makes are influenced by their friends’ social posts, 71% say that social media referrals make them more likely to purchase, and conversions jump 133% when shoppers see good reviews about you on social media before buying.

The need

For every company that thrives by introducing a sophisticated, multi-faceted social media strategy as a part of their marketing plan, there are countless others who struggle with using new and emerging media platforms and technology in their businesses.

Social media can be intimidating and challenging and a lot of brokers think it’s not the best way to communicate with their customers. However, we know that without a strong online presence, some brokers may get left in the dust.

With the aid of pulse surveys and other touchpoints with our broker network, we identified that brokers wanted more digital and social media support.

The result

We developed a toolkit/playbook to help brokers get started on social media, grow their online presence and create campaigns to help engage with their current customers, attract new customers to help grow their business.

Each playbook is set up as a self-serve, 1-stop shop for brokers. All of the messaging, creative and resources are completely contained within a pdf document. No links or downloading required.

The broker simply needs to open the playbook, walk through 5-easy steps and they’ll be on their way to building their social media presence in no time.
